Duochrome comparison: OPI - Not Like The Movies, Catrice - 490 - Iron Mermaid, Charmeen - Chrystal and Manhattan - 96/319!

From gray to green, purple, reddish, yellowish, to turquoise and blue, the color changes depending on the viewing angle, and therefore provides a very interesting effect. At first glance, the OPI and Catrice paint contribute relatively similar, the Charmeen makes a little "thinner" impression and the two Manhattan appear strong and in a different color than the rest

On paper, the differences are clear: While the Charmeen is very transparent, and therefore (in my view, - but I might be wrong and completely) only from the iridescent pigment there is, in the two Manhattan a medium blue base color was actually mixed. In OPI and Catrice it looks as if a greyish (but still relatively Sheere) carrier color here, with the OPI the green-gray, who goes Catrice to lilac-gray.

Conclusion:

The color change effect of these coatings is very special and not everyone's thing. I personally like the color from gray to red game fairly well, but I can imagine that many girls are not as enthusiastic. Nor can I imagine that many people may have a better coverage of the paints and disappointed hopes sind, dass die volle "Wirkung" erst beim Layern über Schwarz oder einer anderen dunklen Farbe entfaltet wird. Wer dieses Pigment aber annähernd so liebt wie ich, erhält sehr vielseitig anwendbare Lacke, die sich ständig von einer anderen Seite zeigen. :)

Bis auf die beiden Manhattans (durch die Basisfarbe) sind sich alle Lacke recht ähnlich, insbesondere wenn man den Effekt auf Schwarz vergleicht. Der Catrice ist die gute Variante im Mittelfeld, bei mir problemlos in der Anwendung mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Der Charmeen ist der Durchsichtigste von den Dreien, durch die geringe "Eigenfarbe" aber sehr vielseitig (als "French" or in layers). Of course, the price is unbeatable, but I also had problems with blistering (but may have also been fitted with a black base coat, etc., located, I do not know) and the drying time was rather mediocre. The OPI characterized by the use of good (I love the broad brush OPI), in addition, it contains so the only the silver Miniteilchen through which the paint gets a nice extra effect. My opinion:

Hier in Frankfurt scheint endlich mal die Sonne (nachdem es vor ein paar Tagen sogar kurz wieder Schnee gab...) und es ist etwas wärmer :) Weil ich immer noch krank bin, müssen die geplanten Posts warten, dafür kommt hier eine Vorschau der neuen Essence - Blossoms etc... LE, die es ab Anfang April in den Geschäften geben wird.

Mein erster Eindruck: Natürlich sind für mich die Lacke bei einer LE immer das Interessanteste! Das Design von Aufdruck und Flaschenform gefällt mir soweit gut, bei langen, hohen Fläschchen habe ich jedoch immer Bedenken was die Standfestigkeit betrifft. Oftmals haben sie keinen guten Schwerpunkt und tendieren dazu, insbesondere beim Abstreifen des Pinsels und abnehmendem Füllstand, umzufallen (siehe Lacke der P2 - Snow Glam LE). Mal sehen, wie Essence das Stabilitätsproblem gelöst hat.

Die Farben der Lacke harmonieren (meiner Meinung nach) sehr gut zum Thema "Frühling" und "Blumen", wann sonst sind Pastellfarben so passend wie hier? Andererseits sind Pastelltöne in letzter Zeit sehr häufig zu finden, z.B. im neuen Catrice-Standardsortiment ( siehe HIER ) und auch dem neuen Essence-Standardsortiment ( siehe HIER ). Inwiefern sich die Nuancen von den anderen, auch gerade auf den Markt gebrachten, Farben unterscheiden, lässt sich anhand der Pressefotos nicht einschätzen. Da ich Pastell-Lacke liebe, hoffe ich natürlich auf neue Farbvarianten! Sobald ich die Nagellacke in die Finger kriege, werde ich vergleichen. :)

my nail polish purchase from the new P2 line I wanted to have post on Friday evening, unfortunately I was caught a nasty cold (with all the trimmings). I feel although still pretty bad, want you but my find not deny:)

Conclusion: I like new product ranges! As has been slow to fill the old stuff, long ago bought backups of all favorite paints and longs for something new. I love the muted colors (on the other hand, I also love bright colors, Hololacke, duochrome paint, neon paint, magnetic paint, actually, I love almost all paints ... hmmmmm - this statement makes little sense ... no matter:)) and can not at all enough variants out of it. Zuerst mal ein dickes SORRY an alle, die auf die versprochenen Vergleiche der neuen Catrice-Lacke warten. Ich habe es nicht vergessen und werde die Vergleiche so bald wie möglich posten, aber ich muss erstmal zeigen, was ich vorhin entdeckt habe.

Ich war auf dem Weg von der Arbeit nach Hause, als meine innere Stimme (Intuition???) mich geradezu anschrie, die Autobahn bei der nächsten Abfahrt in Richtung Main-Taunus-Zentrum zu verlassen und nachzusehen, ob es dort etwas Neues gäbe. Gedacht-Getan: Zuerst bin ich rein in den Kaufhof und entdeckte einen fast frisches Display der Whoom! Boooomm! Le, freute mich wie ein kleines Kind und hab natürlich all paints with him. I'm thrilled with the paint! I'm gonna be thrilled with magnetic paint, since I've heard that such a thing even exists! The Metallics-magnetic materials were already great, but I can understand that some gals would have preferred to have other colors than just brown. Therefore, I think it's great that this is a pink goes with it ( 03 - Magic Wand ), which together with the gold ( 05 - Pixie Dust ) and the indefinable color with reddish ( 01 - Miracle Shine ) are my favorites. The magnet effect could be (at least on the bike) create problems, a coat is completely opaque in these coatings and actually quite sufficient to dry the paint very quickly.

Again, an incredible sparkle in the sun! Those who prefer understated, should abandon this Nail Art Twins away in the sun or stronger light glitters is like a champ! :)

My first impression: to have tested without this Effect topcoats so far (except for the Swatch on the wheel), am I ever excited! Unfortunately, I failed to capture the beauty of glitter sparkle to the photos accurate, but it looks really great from under the lamp and sunlight, it will definitely be fantastic! Of course, es immer schwierig den Glitter wieder von den Nägeln zu kriegen, aber das ist wohl der Preis für den tollen Effekt. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, die Topcoats über verschiedenen Farben auszuprobieren!

These four colors are just a small selection the new multi-dimensional paints. I have seen rummaging through the boxes in many other nice colors, including two other pastels (I think orange and purple), which Taupiges, and more. Of these four like me very well the baby blue 74 - Fall For Me and the red 78 - Right, Girl , because of the fantastic cast.

50 - Irreplaceable - also wants when it come out in the photos simply not true - this is a very nice beige-nude paint, interspersed with a large number of very small Goldglitterteilchen that result in a fantastic gold shimmer. I'm thrilled!

51 - Mellow Yellow - A very light pastel yellow, which is covered with two layers really well! Cream finish.

47 - Red-Y To Go - A great many red with tiny shimmer particles that pass easily into the Orange. Sheen finish.
52 - Out Of My Mind - Terrific! The blue-green color chanchierenden game reminds her of the very duochrome 38 - Choose Me! there, but much, much, much finer micro-particles. It almost looks as if someone at 52 - Out Of My Mind the components of the Choose Me! Gemal tiny and filled again. A great paint, unfortunately the effect is not in the pictures out so well. (

Summary:
As mentioned, these are of course not nearly all the new coatings of the new 2011 range. Although there were many, many cases (and I've searched all) were still missing some paint, which I with other bloggers who were allowed to participate in the event Cosnova bloggers had already seen. On the other hand, of course, some other paints in the boxes, but I have reasons of common sense (and yes, the voice of reason "actually pretty weak, but thankfully still present) could not buy them all.

Other than that it was Geleyeliner (especially a brown and a green looked great!), various lip products and beautiful nail sticker, which I am also sharp. But what the hell, this is the new standard range, and I can buy in the next few months still to your heart's content. :)

Overall I'm very happy with the new paint line! I have the feeling that one has really thought about what the buyers want to be happy and provide accordingly. A (decent) Hololack, duochrome and magnetic coatings in the standard range to have is great in my opinion, really! I love the new Effect topcoats and new nail art Twins! Different sized and colored Glitterteilchen in several variants, if I alone imagine the huge number of possible combinations ... For those who have not tried before, new coatings are crackling. And if the Better Than Gel Nails are good what would be in addition a great bonus! I'm excited for now!

Finally, here are a highly professional tape on paper-Swatch, another nail in the absence of wheels. As you can see yet somehow, the colors cover well (I have only eine Schicht auf dem Tesa-Streifen verwendet, wobei diese Schicht aber etwas dicker war). Von Auftrag und Trocknungszeit her gibt es soweit nichts auszusetzen.

Zusammenfassung:

Die Lacke der LE gefallen mir ganz gut, ich mag Knallfarben und glaube, ein so quietschiges Grün-Gelb wie 03 - You've Got The Art bisher nicht zu besitzen. Was pastell neon-Orange und -Rot betrifft, kann man solche Farbe durchaus öfter finden, ob diese jedoch so gut deckend sind wie die der LE, ist wiederum eine andere Frage. Der 01-Chacalaca ist mir persönlich leider etwas zu dunkel geraten, mir wäre es lieber, er wäre einen Tick heller und knalliger. Natürlich ist er nicht schwarz (As in the photos looks almost), but after two coats on the nail is the difference between black and certainly not so great.

So, ready, arg, again a lot of work ... :) I hope you enjoy this overview of my first purchases after the Essence range conversion 2011!

What interesting for a week!

really should at this point a post about the new coming available at Douglas Anny Nail Polish. This I discovered on Wednesday, 16.2. Douglas in the small branch in Frankfurt-frame home, as the display has just been given. It seems to me, I have good intuition, which always draws me to where there are just new nail varnish (or I think my decision too often in places where you can buy cosmetics ...), because next day, 17.2. I was able to experience the range of conversion Catrice why the Anny report of recent events unfortunately have to wait a bit:) But

all over again: Because of a temporary replacement on Thursday I was busy in another office during the lunch break and made the rounds of the drug stores in Frankfurt-Höchst. The very nice boss and I arrived just in conversation, she told me at the bar improvements (eg lighting from the bottom now, so you can see glitter and Schimmerteilchen in the products better) and we talked and nail lacquers ( it was the way the new 460 - In the Bronx, who looked great on her). It was really great to talk to her and ask her questions to!

Then there were no stopping them: The very first, pristine counter with the whole new range Catrice awaited the first buyer - and who want to have to wait a new range of long?
After a few seconds I had so many paints in hand, that I was a basket with it - so many new nail varnish, it was a dream!

can only conclude, I say: It was fantastic to be able to use me as your very first customer of the new products and even to meet the boss of Cosnova and her team and me to talk to them - amazing!

Nagelrad are plotted on the two layers without top coat, and you can see that all coatings are completely opaque with two coats. The consistency that I liked, not too runny, not too thick, they were all easy to paint and are relatively dried quickly.

420 - Dirty Berry (a bluish purple with HOLOPARTIKELN The Holoeffekt is very discreet, so assume that at first glance, there are small silver particles, but under stronger light or in the sun you can see the light holographic! effect).

were painted two layers, which was sufficient for all four coatings, to achieve complete coverage. No topcoat was used. Please note that swatches of the Group B coatings reflect, unfortunately, the colors are not really good, the pictures of the bottle top over it get much better approach to reality: 530 - Up In The Air is actually a whole lot brighter, 400 - Blue Cara Ciao is also bright and punchy, 410 - Pool Party At Night and 420 - Dirty Berry act in this picture too dark. Actually, the whole image is just a bit too dark: (All were painting to repair and dry relatively quickly

My absolute top favorite from the group B is of course (you guessed it) the 420 - Dirty As Berry.? I was in selecting what paint should I try first of all, I have me unerringly picked out this, because I have color and "silver particles" so much. When painting I've looked closely again, could not believe it, I've got a flashlight and got oh wonder: Even if the Holoeffekt is very discreet: this paint is a Hololack! In the German drugstore standard assortment! No Holo-Glitter (as so often seen with large particles rumglittern the tangled in all directions), no, a real Hololack, consisting of tiny particles that are "rectified" and the typical rainbow resulting U-shape! On the strength of Holoeffektes he certainly can not compete with a NFU-OH, or KOH Milani, is comparable effect of structure and intensity with the Color Club Hololacken (eg Love'em, or Leave'em Fashion Addict) . How wonderful! I liked very much has

As with the other groups here, two layers were applied without a topcoat, thus achieving full coverage. Application and drying time are good.

from the color fidelity ago, I regret to say that also in this photograph the All paints are a bit darker than they actually are. In particular, this in 500 - Sir, Yes, Sir! significantly, which is relatively dark but not black (like in the picture).

Group C coatings like me, all very good! I'm a fan of khaki-green-brown paint and love the Isadora "In the Army," why me of Sir, Yes, Sir! naturally enjoys. Again two coats, no top coat again. In the case of 490 - Iron Mermaiden the opacity is in two layers is good, a third coat is highly recommended. In 440 - I Wear My Sunglasses At Night a topcoat is recommended to the sparkle of glitter particles better emphasized.

Both paints are beautiful, of course, in this group is my absolute favorite but 490 - Iron Maiden . Not only am I a fan of duo / multi-chrome finishes, I especially love this particular pigment. I got to know it about 15 years ago (at a time where I found the nail polish colors so boring that I've almost never painted the nails). At that time the Manhattan Chameleon Paint No. 319 (and yes, I still own it, although it is hardly something in it) the very worst for me. That was where the new paint in Catrice standard range. Before continuing, let me briefly summarize a few points:

* All paints contain 10 ml and cost 2.49 euros each.

* The first impression of the quality is very good, the brush made the job easy on the nail, the opacity is excellent and the drying time, there is nothing wrong so far. The shelf I can not judge yet, unfortunately.

* Of the new colors I am so excited, my taste was taken exactly! Refreshing, is that not a thousand new red and pink tones (I'm generally not a dislike of red and pink, perhaps my lack of interest in these colors yet due to my youth, when it although many reds and pinks, but hardly anything really exciting for the nails was ...) have been added, but of yellow, blue, green to purple and so everything is there, what your heart desires.

* Super I also like the names. As with the OPI polish names I find these word games just funny.

The range of change are not only many new coatings added, there have been some colors from the old range adopted. With two older paints that remain appear to exist in the new range, my "sharp eagle eye detected a change, somehow seemed to me the 300 - Be My Millionaire and 340 - Run Forest to Run be different, so did I bought both again and compared.

The color of the paints on this photo and the top about it made much more accurate than on the bike down (again).

Both versions are beautiful, the change of color is not be overlooked. Apart from the same finish are there are two very different paints.

340 - Run Forest Run! - Same game here: The old version (left) and new (right). Both cream finish without shimmer, yet totally different - the old version is much darker than the new one.

Especially with this paint so fast I would have expected no change, since he's been joined relatively late to the old range.

Like Be My Millionaire - the finish is the same, the color is completely different. Anyone who loves greens as I think, should both variants zuzulegen long as it goes, because the difference is so great that it has two very different finishes (although with the same name).

C03 - Wonderland Green Card - A strong green with cream finish (in the photos it looks a bit too dark and too blue). Note: The difference between Wonderland Green Card and the new version of Run Forest Run! is very low! Wonderland Green Card is a touch darker, otherwise both are really very similar and paints have a creamy finish.
C04 - Miracle Heaven - A strong medium blue with shimmer finish (in the photos a bit too dark).

The C02 - Lavenderlicious similar in Pastel the Light as Air from China Glaze, Light as Air, however, goes much more color than the greyish Lavenderlicious. Lavenderlicious is my favorite of the Wonderland-LE-paints.

All paints contain 8 ml and cost 2.49 euros.

The Wonderland LE also offers another Tippainter named "Wizard Gold in a beige-gold (roughly corresponds to the color of the old version of Be My Millionaire, with only many Miniglitterteilchen).

Wizardgold contains 4 ml and costs (according to my scanner), also 2,49 Euro. Like all known Tippainter he has a very thin brush, which makes it possible to draw beautiful Nailartmotive on the nail.

Wizardgold here like a normal nail varnish applied onto Ragelrad. Are beautiful to see the many small Glitterteilchen.

Flora Lista Limited Edition Nail Polish

C03 - Lavender Breeze - Ein sehr, sehr, sehr pastelliges Lila mit einem so hohen Weißanteil, dass man auf den ersten Blick wirklich glaubt, einen weißen Nagellack vor sich zu haben. Beim genauen Hinsehen erkennt man, dass er ganz leicht ins Lila geht. Ein Cremefinish.

C04 - Walk In The Woods - Ein wirkliches schönes dezentes Nudebraun Finish with cream.
C02 - Coral's Enchanted Garden - A bold orange-pink, in the photos the paint has been kind of orange. Cream finish. From the color her the "I Scream Peach" very similar, but Coral's Entchanted Garden is a bit more orange and I Scream Peach a bit pink.
C01 - Pink Spring - A medium-sized purple-violet, in the photos it is unfortunately a bit dark and a little too reddish, in reality it is a little brighter and violet.

OPI - Austin-Tatious Turquoise

BeYu 338 - also from the Douglas, 8ml cost 5.80 euros.

Auf dem Nagelrad sind zwei Schichten MNY 808A ohne Topcoat. Gut zu sehen ist der Folieneffekt durch die Mikroglitterpartikel.

 Der Rival de Loop 02 Bordeaux matt in zwei Schichten ohne Topcoat. Dieser Nagellack ist so dunkel, dass er eher schwarz als lila wirkt. Der Name ist meiner Meinung nach völlig inkorrekt, da der Lack weder Bordeauxfarben ist, noch ein mattes Finish possesses. As can be clearly seen, even without the top coat shines beautifully.

Finally, here are two of the new paints from P2 - Make-up Parade PE.

OPI - Katy Perry Collection bei Douglas + Haul, OPI - Teenage Dream + Swatches und billige Alternative!

Full of joy, I discovered a few days ago in I often frequented the small Douglas OPI lacquers of Katy Perry LE. I was surprised, was my last thing from a Douglas employee, that it is only in exceptional circumstances to Christmas, the burlesque Edition coatings would have been because they sparkled so beautiful, but what had been only a one-time action. When I saw the first pictures of the collection, I was naturally very excited about the two Glitter materials, but especially on the multi-Chrome "Not Like The Movies". 15 years ago I bought a Manhattan "Chameleon / Quick Dry" with number 319, which also changes between purple, gray and green color, and fell totally in love with this look (I have him Traderjob still and I will soon be time show in a retro-post). Therefore, I am totally happy, here is a, not exactly the same, but they have found even better, alternative:)

Could I buy the paints here to American prices, I would have taken me, but as I've had black crackle paint by Isadora and P2, and even reddish film-like coatings (though not in exactly this shade of red) own, I look at the two Book here.

Links: Last Friday Night . As you can see, the jelly-like base color of the paint is very transparent. After a coat, only a minimal hint of blue is seen, but even after two coats, the opacity (except the glitter) very bad. This is a pity, the paint in the bottle makes it a much stronger impression of color. I have not tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure that the places that are not hidden by the glitter, even after 4 layers were still transparent. On the other hand, 4 layers are not really recommended, as the paint by the glitter can be applied in any case not super thin. Great he is in any event by layers of dark blue or Schwarz (oder sonstigen Farben:)), super sieht aber auch ein schwarzer Crackle-Lack obendrüber aus (habe jetzt leider kein Foto gemacht, werde dies noch nachholen).

Mitte: Teenage Dream . Von diesem Lack bin ich begeistert! Obwohl er auch eine Geleebasis hat, deckt er wesentlich besser als Last Friday Night. Zwei Schichten sind ausreichend für komplette Deckkraft. Zu dem mittelgroßen Hologlitter enthält er kleine silberne und winzige rosafarbene Partikelchen, im Licht ist es ein einziges Feuerwerk auf den Nägeln, für das ich gestern einige Komplimente erhalten habe.

Rechts: Not Like The Movies . I love him! As already mentioned, there is an improved version of my 15 years ago bought Manhattan paint! The color can be defined little, it changes depending on the angle and lighting constantly between gray, purple and green. Additionally (and therefore an "improved version") it contains silver micro-Glitterstückchen that give a little extra sparkle, but are relatively subtle. This paint has a metallic look at beautiful art and I have to constantly look at how the color looks again:) With three coats you get a comprehensive result. / / / Even though I really love him, I'm sure the "Not Like The Movies" polarized: There are probably few who find him "well", either you love it or you hate him. The color combination and overall impression are just really special, if you can get used to but will be rewarded with an exceptional paint, one can always surprise and offers interesting possibilities layer (eg black or taupe) offers.

When I started six months ago with the purchase of nail polish, I would never have believed how quickly increase the number of small vials. are in boxes now only my Rival de Loop and Wet'n'Wild varnishes and lacquers very very low budget (Basic, Glamline, Elle exception, Sabrina, Black Onyx, Infinity, Cosmetica Fanatic, Fair Wind, Glam Nails, Fabiola, and a few individual pieces).

All my care utensils (base and top coats, nail hardeners, nail oils, etc.) as well as my Stamping, crackling and nail art paints and accessories are still placed in baskets, then I will leave probably is.

I know that many will laugh now, but for me this is a vast collection. Of course, others have x times to paint, but I'm indeed not a question of having any paint, but to only have the ones I like. last I had the purple NFU-OH presented 64, here comes the NFU-OH 65, a light blue Hololack. The lighting conditions are those of the swatches of No. 64 very similar: Photos in artificial light, but without flash.

Depending on the angle also changes with this Hololack the color. The signature "rainbow" are clearly visible.

I have the NFU-OH 65 now for two days on the nails (which is really a record for me, usually I change latest after 24 hours of the nail varnish). There have been no Tipwear, chips or other damage seen.

I can not stop by the eight NFU-OH paints that have arrived recently to rave about, so I'll start at this point not at all at first. I do not need to, because the pictures in this case (I think) for themselves. Hololack This is just incredible! All photos I wear: Essie Protein Base Coat, 3 coats NFU-OH No. 64 and the top coat Essie Good to go. Sorry, I forgot my delivery to the Aqua Base Coat of NFU-OH think. It is said that this would be especially Hololacke get much better than before, need fewer layers and make the painting easier. Finally, finally I've done it, and they ordered me: Some Opalstückchen holo-and-paint, which I had so often admired on other blogs. only the coatings 58 (red) and 56 (grün) sind etwas deckender, dennoch würde man für sie alleine ca. 3 Schichten benötigen. Die beiden bläulichen (54 und 53) sind sehr durchsichtig (bis auf die Teilchen). 

Generell erscheint es mir, als wären diese Lacke eher als Überlacke über anderen Nagellacken gedacht. Über einem schwarzen Lack z.B. erzielt man unglaubliche Ergebnisse.

Für die beiden Swatchbilder habe ich verwendet: Essie Protein Basecoat, eine Schicht deckenden schwarzen Lack (in diesem Fall 01 Black Out aus der Essence Black&White LE), zwei Schichten NFU-OH 53 und zum Abschluss als Topcoat Essie good to go.

Kurz-Review: P2 - Your Wild Side Trend Edition Lacke

I know I'm a little late, the P2 - Your Wild Side LE has been around for a few days out there, but I have not had time to write something about it. Because I now have hardly any time, only a quick short presentation of the coatings. The products of the LE are imprinted with animal prints and are very nice, fit "Be wild" so good about jungle. I took out the three coatings, two kohl pencils and eyeshadow, but had not yet been the opportunity to test them.

The bottles fell on to me well with the sand-blasted glass and the jungle-pattern cap. All colors are printed according to the bottles have a matte finish. The color choice I think - apart from the stinging out Orange - Thematic match (not that I think the orange bad in itself, but whether it fits the "Wild Side", is another question ...). Each bottle contains 10ml and costs 2.25 €.

So After only a few hours, I had the test as 010 - Vibrant Green on the nails, only the leaves from half of a nail and then paint an entire nail at a time. Total shock I've checked the other fingers and found that I also use very little pressure, the layers of paint the other fingers can completely replace easily (without arrears), almost like a removable nail polish children (only the layers were not as solid and rubbery). So what I have never seen and do not know what to make of it. Did it perhaps with the Catrice - do Acrylic Power nail hardener, which I have worn under the Vibrant Green (the Acrylic Power I had used for the first time)? Is it always like that when you use the Power Acrylic Basecoat? Or get on the two paints is not easy? Or is it perhaps the "Your Wild Side" Lack 010?

Milani 3D Holographic - 514 - High-Res = Ein MUST-HAVE in LILA!

already announced some time, finally here comes the post about my Lieblingshololack: The 514 - High-Res 3D Milani from the series. I ordered it in the new Milani Germany Online Shop, Article see here. This paint has quickly become my absolute Lieblingshololack because he is a) purple b) the Holopartikel have a great size, c) the contract as opposed to other holographic coatings (especially Hololacken KOH) is very simple, and d) because he - also unlike some other Hololacken - even at very low light the amazing rainbow effect is. Many other example, the Color Club Hololacke see toll from the flash and sunlight, but in normal room lighting or in shadow we see little or nothing. Milani is the 514 even without sun light and normal light, the typical rainbow-V and is really fantastic! Moreover, he is now available in a German online shop and not expensive: 13.2 ml cost € 5.29!

MNY - I am an iced Angel paints (407A, 408A and 409A) and winter 2010!

It snows, it snows, it snows really hard in all of Germany! Of course, in the past Years once fell down one way or another snowflake, but it's a long time since I've seen in the city such amounts of snow, and it always snows more ...

is therefore now a short post on the coatings of the "I am an iced Angel LE MNY (swatches to follow) in the snow:)

From left to right: 407A (light gray or dark white with bright white particles), 409A (light blue with white particles) and 408A (dark gray with white particles). The 407A operates in the Bottle dark as to the nail. Plotted is whitish with small but clearly visible, shimmer particles and similar to the P2 Divine (206). The MNY covers but better than the P2, but one will also need the MNY at least two coats to show through the nail no longer can.

The light blue 409A is whitened contains small and large particles, and also needs at least 2 coats for good coverage. When dark gray 408A, it looks similar. Although he is the darkest of the three, one will come to a second coat is not all around. The comparison includes the 407A, the smallest particles and acts so homogeneous that one might think it would consist only of small particles. discovery of the week: OPI Burlesque Edition (Miniset) for Douglas!

The discovery of the week is actually dates back over two weeks, but I was still not easy to post to it. In Frankfurt there are

in almost every district a Douglas. Most stores are small and have only a limited selection. There are usually OPI varnish (known to the price of 16 € per bottle for 15ml) only in the two largest Branches - on the line and in the Main-Taunus-Zentrum - to buy, the smaller Douglas-run shops did not OPI.

For about two weeks, I've discovered that apparently each Douglas Burleque the current edition paints are available. In addition, there are a Miniset with 4 paint that is so sweet that I had to buy it!

At a price of 12.95 € you get the OPI - Burlesque Miniset Little Teasers "with 4 paints Burlescque Edition, each containing 3.75 ml. With 3.75 ml one can not of course for years painted the nails, but it is a good possibility to get to try out the colors. The ones they like the best, of course, then you can buy full-size (see below):) Also: Does the package does not look great?

The Burlesque Edition is indeed known to be in part of glitter paint, there are really only slipped, partly from film special effect coatings. Four of the film coatings are obtained in the set.

Are not they super nice? After I had ordered from Trans Design last month so some of the glitter paints Burlesque Edition, and I thought the non-glitter paints the collection will be rather boring (I knew nothing of the film-like finish), I was here a better informed. They are all fantastic! Besides, if one looks at the photos, but see the mini bottles like the big, right? Without comparison we see no difference.

Here at long last the normal bottle of "The Show Must Go On" next to the mini-bottle from the set. I had to buy even the large version (for 16 € ...), because to me this duochrome paint just like soooo good: D see the two bottles side by side not in class? Is not it cool that corresponds to the mini bottle down to the detail of the Great? Haha, I love those little bottles!

Conclusion: I find that the OPI Miniset Burlesque Edition (also for $ 12.95 €) is an absolute highlight! You get 3x 3.75 ml, making a total of 15ml and thus the contents of a normal OPI lacquer corresponds to only 3.05 euros cheaper (than 16 €). But you get 4 foil colors effect to try and test in one superb, very decorative packaging. And already own these cute mini bottles for me are worth the money! At least in Frankfurt, the Burlesque paints (normal kit) available in any Douglas branch.

course, one could say: "Arg, no, that's too expensive, in America it is much cheaper, I order my dear!" Right, yes, there's the cost. Who can wait anyway and still want to order other things, the should do so in America. P2 - Snow Glam LE Nail Polish - Holo Really?

A few days ago I discovered in a nearby DM (in a lower shelf, away from the rest of the Beauty and rather hidden), the new P2 Snow Glam Edition. The three coatings, all with Glitzerteilchen had, of course, immediately.

The ring finger and little finger I had after the first two layers of base coat P2 - 030 - used Virgin's standard range, then about two layers of 010 - Snow White from the LE.

Here again is the Snow White in artificial light. The result with Virgin underneath is much more appealing. The Snow White included in pastel Hologlitter (rose in the first place, yellow and light blue sparkling) is on Virgin very good effect.

Conclusion: Although the coatings of the Snow Glam LE P2 represent nothing unprecedented, and I'm not sure if I can classify them at all in the category "Hololacke" I like the 030 - Glitter Grey in itself, and 020 - Rose Red and 010 - Snow White as a varnish, quite well. The gray paint sparkles (though discreet but visible) in front of him, in the red bottle I would bite the most, because it reminds me somehow of strawberry and pastel glitter in the white paint looks like icing sugar. I also like the bottle shape, because it is reminiscent of ice crystals, what's the theme of the LE.

Nachdem ich die ersten Bilder von DW? im Internet gesehen hatte (einige Zeit bevor ich auf die Idee kam, mir einige China Glaze Sachen bei Transdesign zu bestellen), habe ich mein komplettes Umfeld nach möglichen Dupes von DW? oder sehr änlichen Nagellacken akribisch abgesucht, und bin schließlich an einem Ort fündig geworden, an dem man normalerweise keine Kosmetik kaufen würde: Einem türkischen Import-Export Shopping in Frankfurt-Bockenheim (forgot the shop name unfortunately). There was a greater choice of nail polishes and other cosmetic products of me - until then - not yet known company: Cosmetica Fanatic. My first assumption is that if it were this is a Turkish brand was wrong. Cosmetica Fanatic is a German manufacturer.

Claire's 3 in 1 nail polish 27/10 - the three colors of purple ...

As I recently for the first time in a Claire's business was in Frankfurt, I was unfortunately not the color-changing paints on the temperature, I was looking for (are forbidden as well in Europe, because of certain ingredients - at least I've read). But there other interesting materials were found, which of course I had to buy the same. One of them was the 27 / 10 3 in 1 coat. This principle of three stacked color options I was not previously known, and I must admit that I still do not really understand the exact meaning behind it, but ... :) Here are the pictures.

A very dark, a middle and a bright purple one above the other in a bottle. They serve a mixture of themselves do not and remain relatively stable over each other (see picture of the bottle lying down) but it is explicitly not recommended on the bottle like to shake the paint.

Review: My Private Jet (new version) - Holo-Glitter favorite polish!

My Privat Jet von OPI war mein erster holoartiger Nagellack überhaupt. Obwohl ich "nur" die neue Version besitze, die im Gegensatz zum Original My Privat Jet etwas heller ist (eher dunkelbraun, nicht wirklich schwarz) und wesentlich weniger Holopartikel besitzt, bin ich damit sehr glücklich. Natürlich würde für mich ein Traum in Erfüllung gehen, wenn ich (zu einem halbwegs zivilen Preis) die alte Version in die Finger kriegen würde (*seufz)... Dennoch: Die neue Version gehört zu meinen absoluten Lack favorites. It is indeed effective, but yet so unobtrusive that you can keep it in every situation, even if you will not even have super flashy Mani.

It sounds like a stupid, but whenever I feel like I need something that makes me cheer (with stress, exams, or something difficult when the job is pending), I use my private jet and I feel equal better. I can then watch the whole day over again on my nails, and enjoy myself at Hologlitter: D Actually, everyone should have a lift-nail polish.

Conclusion: One of my absolute favorite. Super easy to apply, good durability, good effect nail polish, which is yet so unobtrusive that he was (in my opinion) can always wear. I love him!

My Private Jet is available (new version) result in many branches of the Douglas OPI, but (like all OPI varnishes Douglas) at a price of 16 €. Cheaper get him through e-Bay or online stores, I think about Amazon get him (but am not sure).
